I’ve been cooking low carb/keto meals for the past several months and it helped me lose weight and regain my health.
Last 2015, I was diagnosed with mild fatty liver. Back then, I had no knowledge of low carb lifestyle or keto. And, so was my doctor. She just prescribed medicines and liver supplements. Since I was not feeling anything and I don’t want taking any medicines, I ditched the meds never went back to the doctor and continued with my way of life. Always eating high carb, high sugar foods.
Last 2020, after my mother was hospitalized due to high blood pressure and sugar, I also had a medical checkup. I still had a fatty liver and my liver enzymes were not good. The doctor advised me to lose weight. So, I did. I lowered my rice intake but I still consumed other high in carbs and sugar foods. But I also never went back to this doctor. It might be the fear of worsening condition and the possibility of taking another set of medicines.
2021 was when everything changed. I was lucky to meet a doctor who’s a low carb advocate. During my annual physical exam, the doctor introduced me a YouTube channel advocating and practicing low carb and intermittent fasting lifestyle.
Since then my life has completely changed.
I have finally understood and admitted that sugar addiction is real. I was able to withdraw from my high sugar intake and slowly regain my health.
Quitting sugar is hard specially with the current economic situation. But it is totally worth it.
So here’s my site to help fellow sugar addict to be finally sugar-free and regain back their health.
